The Brolga. The rival grey stallion, who held the title of a King Of The Cascade Brumbies. He is the main rival of Thowra, as well as the killer of his father, Yarraman. He is the father of one of Thowra's mates, Boon Boon.
Character[]
Brolga is an arrogant horse who is full of himself. He doesn't agree with nature's way of life, refusing to except the fact that he is getting old, and that Thowra possesses a real threat to him as he get older and weaker. Even in his youth Brolga showed his short temper, brute strengh and desire for power.
Biography[]
After battling Yarraman as a young stallion, he defeats and kills him when he reaches his prime. His first attempt failed, as he was punished by the chestnut stallion and sent running back to his territory for threatening four of Yarraman's herd members: Bel Bel, Merri, and his two sons, Thowra and Storm. When Brolga finally reached maturity, he defeated Yarraman and took his place as king.
In turn, ironically, when one of his rival's sons, Thowra, reaches maturity, he defeats The Brolga, leaving him alive, but ashamed and bunished, and becomes king of the Cascade brumbies.
